Shoe-maker Voltan in Stra is the main actor, together with other Italian important “Made in Italy”companies, of “Le mani della tradizione/The Hands of Tradition”, a brilliant photo project by Thomas Quintavalle telling the story of some of the oldest Italian companies led by families that did not follow the dictates of the market: they are still firmly leading their companies founded by their ancestors and following a successful idea where there is space for values and people who, with their efforts ,have made a dream come true.
The photo exhibition is open to public throughout 2015 at the Cultural Pole of the Ministry of Economic Development in Rome. www.lemanidellatradizione.it
